Cook Time : 30 mins
  1. Preheat grill.
  2. Combine all burger ingredients and form burger mixture into ¾” (2 cm) thick burger style patties.
  3. Grill patties 5-10 minutes per side on an oiled grill or until a digital thermometer inserted into the patty reads 170F (77C).
  4. Top each patty with a generous slice of Gouda during the last minute of grilling to melt the cheese.
  5. Combine all sauce ingredients to make Sassy Maple Mustard Sauce.
  6. Drizzle cooked burgers with the sauce. Serve on toasted crusty bun or crostini with thinly-sliced red cabbage and green onion.
