½ cup cilantro, coarsely chopped (stems and leaves)
6 mint leaves, chiffonade
4 slices cheddar, or cheese of your choice
4 burger buns
For the sauce:
½ c mayonnaise
¼ cup Sriracha or hot sauce of your choice
1 lime, zested and juiced
½ cup lettuce
½ of one tomato, sliced
2 pickles, sliced
For the sauce, mix all ingredients together and set aside (this can be placed in the refrigerator).
Preheat your grill for direct cooking over medium heat (350-450°F). Scrape grill and brush with vegetable oil.
In a large bowl, combine all your ingredients and shape into 4 equal patties.
Grill Turkey Masala Burgers for 5-7 minutes per side, with the lid closed as much as possible. Add slices of cheese while the burger is still on the grill, during the last 2 minutes. Cook until the internal temperature of the burger reaches 165°F.
Toast the buns on the grill, then smear buns with spicy mayo.
Serve burgers with lettuce, tomato, and pickles on top.
